"The World I Want To Live In"

It is honestly difficult to have the world that I want to live in and why is that? It is because everyday I wake up to seeing my phone and scroll through Instagram, reading my favorite  news account; World of Buzz which tells what is going on in Malaysia currently and honest speaking, there were more bad and tragic news than good news. It is honestly very sad to seeing many people dying everyday. I mean it is normal to know that people are dying everyday due to maybe old age and accidents, but seeing that there were people dying from fights, murder cases, wars and many other listless undeserving deaths for people. Not just about death though, there are also many discriminations about gender, LGBTQ community and race. According to Graves (2020), there was a racism and police brutality that happened on May 25, 2020, where the victim named George Floyd who was tragically killed by a Minneapolis police officer. He was killed by being suffocated as the police officer knelt on his neck, which has instantly turned into a murder by the officer. It is very saddening and disappointing to even hear and see such small things to be cause into such a big issues and also had become a norm in the social life.  Well, it was brought to justice at the end as the police officer was charged for murder and was imprisoned along with the accompanied officers that did nothing to help the poor George Floyd. Other than death and discriminations, there are many other reasons that make this world to not be a peaceful world. 

Now, let's shift to what makes a peaceful, inclusive and a just world? Well, in order to achieve this kind of world that I wished to also one day to have are equality, unity, freedom and justice. It may sound simple to anyone but it is really hard to achieve till in today's days. However, to achieve this four values that leads to peaceful, inclusive and a just world are inclusiveness in any type of way such as gender, race and any other society, which means there should not be any types of discrimination. The world should also have rightful law and order in order to maintain the peacefulness of the world, and to also not have violence and have zero crimes going on around everybody's neighborhood. Other than that, I believe that there should not be corruptions in the country and especially among the world leaders and authorities of the country. The leaders should take proper responsibility as they are the main biggest factor to make the world into a better peaceful place.

Having this world that I imagine and want to live in really does matter to me. Although I may not have experience firsthand of any issues such as bullying or any other cases in the world currently, but it is sad that people are facing injustice, bullying, war crimes, murder, robbery, corruption, scandal, discrimination and even many types that just make the world less peaceful, exclusive and unjust world. This is the reason why this world really does matter to me. As a matter in fact, it also does matter to everybody around the world hoping to achieve the long and distance path of the perfect world.

As I kept rambling about the world peace as though I want it to be perfect, but what is stopping this world from becoming a reality today? Well, it is that simple actually. In this world, everybody will definitely have some of the seven deadly sins which are pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. The main sin that are causing this world to be unpeaceful are greed. Greed leads to selfishness and it goes to many people but if powerful leaders and authorities have too much greed, it can cause chaos around the world and people find it difficult to go against the higher ups as they are worried of themselves as a top priority. It is just sad that the corrupted higher authorities around the world can control people and the people can't go against them but just to face the bad consequences, in order to satisfy the need of the people with power. There is a saying where it goes by "With great power, comes with great responsibility", which was a quote from Spiderman.

To conclude, I believe that world peace can be achieved. However, it won't be as perfect as I imagined in my thought. As long as everybody unite as one to achieve it together, it is very possible to happen. Everybody deserves to have a peaceful life till even to the moving on generation.
